Christmas is always a special time of year. It stands for contemplation, solidarity and compassion. But especially at this time of year, we should not forget that many people are struggling with major challenges.

This year, we have decided to give something back and support people who need help the most. We are therefore delighted to support the Förderkreis Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder Aachen e.V. with our donation, which supports and strengthens families in difficult life situations.

The association: A ray of hope for affected families

The Förderkreis Hilfe für krebskranke Kinder e.V. has been working tirelessly for many years to support families whose children have cancer. A cancer diagnosis throws a family’s entire life out of balance and presents parents and siblings with enormous challenges. This is precisely where the association comes in: it offers individual advice, financial support and a place to meet and exchange ideas.

A particular focus is on giving the affected families a sense of security and, above all, relieving the parents during this difficult time. The association not only provides them with advice and support, but also creates spaces in which they can recharge their batteries – far away from everyday hospital life.

Our donation: A contribution to more normality and cohesion

The association has decided that our donation will be used to equip the newly renovated parents’ kitchen and recreation room. We really appreciate the fact that the Förderkreis communicates so transparently about what the funds are being used for.

This transparency makes the association particularly trustworthy and sets it apart. Donations often don’t tell you directly what the money is being used for – here, however, it is clearly shown how the donation is being used: e.g. with utensils for the parents’ kitchen. These help families to prepare small meals during this difficult time.

This allows relatives to experience a sense of normality. Because especially in challenging times, it is often the small moments that give hope.

We would like to thank all those who make it possible for us to support such projects through their daily work!
